What Spring Brings

I’m not afraid of the dark anymore.

Spring Voyage

Extraordinary is extra-ordinary. I am special simply because I’m here.

Home & Cottage

No chewing my shoes. No scaring the cat.
No scrounging for crumbs. No wearing my hat.
No whining at bath time. No shredding the mail.
No breaking the vase, while chasing your tail.
No eating flowers. No sleeping on the chair.
No whining at the door. No seat cushions covered in hair.
No pulling on tassels. No digging in plants.
No rolling around in my pile of pants.
I made the instructions, as easy as I could.
All you have to do is Doggonit! JUST BE GOOD!
Sometimes It’s Okay to Do Nothing

I remember walking through a summer field. The sun warmed my face and the golden grass swayed through my fingers.

I didn’t have plans. I didn’t have anyone to see. I didn’t have a phone. And I didn’t have any place to be.

So I stayed for a while.

I remember seeing the sky through a canopy of tall trees. The leaves and the breeze made a soft sound like applause in the distance.

I didn’t have plans. I didn’t have anyone to see. I didn’t have a phone. And I didn’t have any place to be.

So I stayed for a while.

I remember laying on the living room floor and looking out the window. Blue came by and sat next to me. Ruby joined too.

We didn’t have plans. We didn’t have anyone to see. We didn’t have a phone. And we didn’t have any place to be.

So we stayed for a while.
